are seen during the dark hours of the night. At night, the area is very dark with no source of man-made light. It begins to emit a more eerie feeling as darkness falls in and the only light is the moon itself. It is often said that the lights would respond to other sources of light and to sounds. The Mysterious Reality crew put this idea to a test and the results were astounding! The following is the recordings of our journal:

7:49 PM	Spotlight shined into the mountain.	A brief flutter of light on the mountainside. Light was dim with little or no movement
7:55 PM	Car horn was honked several times.	Three small lights appeared on the mountainside just above the stream below. Lights were further back than the stream. Lights faded away after a few moments.
8:02 PM	Car horn honked a second time.	Lights appeared again, only a little brighter and seemed to be the same three lights as before (they appeared in the same spots as the previous lights faded away). There was a tiny bit of movement as the lights appeared to move closer to one another.
8:07 PM	Car horn honked a third time with spotlight shinning into the valley.	The lights (still present) brightened up a bit but not with too much excitement. Movement picked up as the three lights three lights began to circle one another very slowly. Movement became less apparent after about two to three minutes.
8:12 PM	No stimulus	Lights faded away over a period of about two minutes.
8:32 PM	No stimulus	Lights briefly appeared again but with no real activity other than showing up. Faded away again after about 30 seconds.
8:35 PM	Car horn honked along with spotlight being shinned into the valley.	No activity
8:58 PM	Car horn honked.	Two lights appeared but remained stationary for several minutes.
9:07 PM	No stimulus	The two lights were joined by a third, and then a fourth light. All four lights began to move about the mountainside.
9:15 PM	No stimulus	The most dramatic event of the night took place! Two lights slowly faded away with the remaining two lights moving toward one another. The remaining two lights seemed to join, with a result of a bright, brilliant beam being shot straight up into the sky! Then all lights faded away.
9:21 PM	Spotlight was shined into the valley.	No activity
9:27 PM	Car horn was honked with the spotlight being shined into the valley.	No activity
From this point on, there was little or no activity of the lights. The Mysterious Reality crew left the area at approximately 11:00 PM.

While we did not discover the source of the Dover Lights, nor did we find out what they are. All we can deduct, at this point, is that "they are real and they do exist." They definitely respond to outside stimulus such as light and sound but we could detect no definite pattern to their activity. Mysterious Reality expects to make another trip to the Dover Lights for further study.
