On May 11, 1950, at around 7:45 pm, Mrs. Trent was outside feeding her animals when she saw a very bright, metallic object in the sky approaching her farm. She called to her husband Mr. Trent who did not respond. She anxiously ran into the house to get a him and to get her camera. After finding her husband and camera, Mr. and Mrs. Trent returned outside just in time to snap two photographs of the UFO as it accelerated and sped away to the northwest.
