During World War II, American pilots were not the only ones to see the mysterious lights. Captured German and Japanese pilots also claimed to have witnessed this phenomenon. World War II was not the only time Foo Fighters were reported, however. Pilots also claimed to have seen them during the Korean War, but in less proportions.
