Something
very unusual and frightening happened in Kelly, Kentucky
on August 21, 1955 after a silvery, metallic UFO was
witnessed flying overhead Billy Ray Taylor. It landed
in a gully not too far away from the Taylor's rural
household. When Billy Ray attempted to retrieve others
to come investigate with him, he wasn't taken seriously.
Just a little over an hour later, a small creature
was seen approaching the house. It was traveling by
floating a few feet above the ground. It was only
about three and a half feet tall with huge black eyes
with no pupils, no nose to be spoke of, a small slit
for a mouth, slightly webbed fingers, and over sized
floppy ears. It's skin was silvery and almost metal-looking
with a glowing aura surrounding it.
The
men panicked, got their guns and commenced to firing
at the strange being from a distance of 20 feet. The
bullets did not hurt the creature at all, merely knocking
it over

backwards. Then, it simply got back up and scurried
into the woods. Not much longer after the first incident,
a second terrifying encounter occurred. More of the
aliens began appearing around the house; in trees, on
top of the house, behind bushes, and floating around
in thin air. They shot at several of the curious beings
but none of them ever seemed to be injured by the shotgun
blasts. Billy Ray attempted to go outside to see if
they had killed any of the creatures but was attacked
by one of them from the roof. With no phone and no means
of contacting any outside help, they remained in terror
for several hours. The family of 11 people eventually
managed to get into two vehicles and travel to Hopkinsville
where they alerted the police. The police and newsmen
returned to the house with the Taylor family, by then
there was nothing left to see. After everything had
settled down and the police and news crew left, the
creatures returned for a second attack on the Taylor
family. The second siege was less dramatic and didn't
last nearly as long as the first. |
